ESCAPE (ver 2.0) Abandoned Freeware Some sofware written before the invention of the 386 computer lacked a way to exit the program without rebooting the computer (there was no "q", "bye", "exit", "F10", or even "CTRL+C"). ESCAPE is a TSR that lets you make a hard exit from any program when you press F12 (you are not given any option to abort should you press F12 by accident). Naturally you want to exit programs normally if possible, as you may loose data or leave temp files behind otherwise. Since ESCAPE can be unloaded, you may wish to use the Batch File "ESCLOAD.BAT" that loads ESCAPE, launches you program, and then unloads ESCAPE.
