SleepHDD is an IDE drive utility that will 
spindown a BIOS recognized IDE hard drive 
(either disk0 or disk1).  The drive can be put 
into either "standby" or full "sleep" mode.  

Program switches allow SleepHDD to perform other 
tasks such as displaying the drive's model, 
parameters and current power state; turning the 
drive's cache on or off; or setting a countdown 
timer to turn the drive off in 1 to 18 minutes.  


WARNING: Some IDE drives are buggy, and do not 
support power management commands correctly.
