CE (ver 1.53) Shareware made Abandoned Freeware CE has been extracted from the Inkutils utility suite. CE is a TSR that replaces the terse "Abort, Retry, Ignore" Critical Error message (which most users do not know how to reply to) with a more informative pop-up window. It uses only 900 bytes of memory, and is fully compatible with 4DOS/NDOS. Type "CE /h" to view a list of command line switches. If you type "CE /help", the program will launch a CE instruction manual stored in the executable program INKUTILS.EXE. Note: The message is a request for operator clarification; Abort = please terminate the entire running program (without saving). Retry = please jump back to the processes entry point. Ignore = please lie to the process that everything is OK. [Fail is a "punt". It reports to the process the failures error code, then asks the process to continue. The expectation is that the process itself will use the error code to make a decision on how to deal with the error. However many processes instead just treat Fail like Ignore.]
