This typing tutor was written by Bob Harrell,  an electronics instructor
at Erwin Technical Center in Tampa, FL  to  fill a  special need.  While
trying to use the Dvorak right handed keyboard  it was found  that there
was no  material  avaiable to help. There is plenty of material  for use
with the  QWERTY  and a few tutors support the two-handed Dvorak system.
The lessons supplied with this tutor are specially designed for use with
the Dvorak left or right handed  keyboard layouts. Better yet it is made
to be adapted to any system. New  lessons can  easily be written to help
with special  problems  of  any  individual. Lessons  can  be changed or
deleted. The program  provides  the means to  write  over old lessons or
write  new  ones. If  you find it easier  you may use any text editor or
word processor that  saves  a file  as a text file.  EDIT, supplied with
MSDOS will do as  will Wordperfect  and  many other programs. Delete old
lessons as any file using DOS. One rule--hit return  at  the end of each
line!! This  includes  the last line! Do not save with the cursor at the
end of line six. Six lines of single spaced text--60 characters per line
makes a lesson file.  

NOTE: Includes a typing timer.  For best results, type the contents of a
      document for at least one minute.  Make corrections as you type if
      necessary to make a perfect copy.   Press "ESC" when finished, and 
      you will be shown your typing speed in Words per Minute.

DVORAK.SYS is a keyboard layout file from Microsoft, that allows you to 
change keyboard layout from the standard US Querty key layout to either 
US Dvorak, Left-Hand US Dvorak, or Right-Hand US Dvorak layouts.   This 
Code Page Information file is loaded using the program "keyb".  Be sure
to replace the below paths with the actual path to DVORAK.SYS.
