Aurora Editor (ver 3.0c) Shareware made Abandoned Freeware Although the internal Help screen still includes an Order Form, the Aurora Editor is now Freeware. Aurora is a heavyweight Text Editor that supports a mouse. Abilities fall between the MS-DOS Editor ver 6.22 (equivalent to Windows Notepad), and Word for DOS ver 5.5 (equivalent to Windows Microsoft Office Word). It also includes features useful to programmers, such as the ability to find/replace text, fold text, view in HEX mode, and run macros. This is a fully installed copy of the 8086 PC version (capable of running on even the earliest of PCs), which has been configured in a layout similar to WordStar. However you can easily modify the Style, and there are several pre-made alternatives in the STYLE directory. Should you choose one, simply rename and copy your choice over the current KBD.AML and MENU.AML files.
