OS/2 Warp (version 4.0) Abandonware This is the retail package of OS/2 version 4. OS/2 came with three installation diskettes, and a CD-ROM. If you lost the diskettes, you could recreate them from images on the CD-ROM. I have created three self-extracting images of these diskettes labeled "Disk0" (Installation Diskette), "Disk1" (Diskette 1), and "Disk2" (Diskette 2). I have also created an ISO image of the CD-ROM (OS2WARP4). The diskette images are in the ZIP file "Install.zip", and the CD-ROM image in the ISO "OS2WARP4.ISO". To install OS/2 you must have a 1.44 diskette drive installed as Drive A:. Place the first diskette (Installation Diskette) into drive A:, and the CD-ROM into your CD drive. When you reboot the machine, the installation disk will boot. It will then ask you to switch to the second diskette (Diskette 1). Finally, it will ask you to switch to the third diskette (Diskette 2). At this time, assuming no hardware errors were encountered (i.e., hardware too new for OS/2 to recognize), the installation will continue from the CD-ROM. ----- Also included with the retail package was the OS/2 Device Driver Pak, which contained all the extra device drivers not on the Installation CD, but which were available from the IBM website.
