The STBFP utilities consist of three programs, which are free for 
personal use.  They are command line utilities which can be run in 
a batch file (such as your scheduled backup/maintenance batch file).  

STB = Save The Boot saves/compares/restores a Boot sector.

STF = Save The Fat saves/compares/restores a FAT table.

STP = Save The Partition saves/compares/restores a Master Boot Record.


Note: These programs can only read DOS accessable data.  I have -not- 
tested them on a FAT32 formatted drive.
