Free FDISK (ver 1.3.8) Freeware FDISK is a fixed disk partition tool capable of creating FAT16 partitions, or partitions greater than 2,048Mb by using FAT32. Be aware however that some legacy systems will be unable to use even a FAT16 partition over 512Mb in size. The maximum size partition FDISK can create is 2Tb, when using a Master Boot Record (MBR) partition table. Note that FDISK can -not- handle disks partitioned by a GUID Partition Table (GPT), which is the default on modern UEFI enabled systems. Most options can be performed automatically from the Command Line using "switches" (type FDISK /?). Program behaviour can be further customized by editing the FDISK.INI file.
