BOOTMGR (ver 10-MAR-2008) Abandoned Freeware BOOTMGR is a monochrome text Multi-Boot Manager with a DOS configuration program (bootmgr.com), designed to run with any PC/videocard. BOOTMGR replaces the boot loader in a PC's Master Boot Record (MBR). The BOOTMGR Loader fits entirely within the Master Boot Record and does not occupy nor overwrite any additional disk space. BOOTMGR supports hard drives larger than 8Gb. On startup, BOOTMGR displays a text-graphic screen with a menu of installed OSes, and allows the user to select (with cursor keys) the OS to be loaded, from hard drive or diskette. If no key is pressed, the OS that is set up as the default gets loaded. In addition to the OS menu, the BOOTMGR screen can show detailed drive and partition data, and some other user options.
