ProComm Plus is a TUI (Textual User Interface) Modem Communications 
program.  It does not support a mouse.  The program has been tested 
good at speeds of 36.6K.  Automation is possible using the Aspect 
scripting language.  ProComm Plus supports several communcation data 
and compression protocols, and it can be used as either a DOS Host or 
a Client.  It is also DESQview aware.  

Note that the compiler used to create the program used "timing loops", 
which are known to fail on fast processors (Run Time Error R6003).  
Aware of the problem, Datastorm created a patch for the files 
"PCPLUS.exe", "PCEDIT.exe", "PCKEYMAP.exe", and "PCSETUP.exe", as well 
as an update to "DT_PATCH.exe" itself.  I have applied this patch, and 
saved the unmodified files in the directory "ORIGINAL".
