Finger is a WATTCP Finger Client.  The client requires "WATTCP.CFG" to 
be in the same directory as Finger.exe.  You must configure WATTCP.CFG 
with your IP address information.  

A Finger server returns information on the "Alias" and "True Name" of a 
specific "User" if queried.  It may also return some brief user added 
"Profile" information if this option is supported on the server.  Finger 
can be thought of as a kind of "Ping utility" that checks for "users".  
If no user is specified, FINGER will return the names of currently logged 
users on that machine.



			FINGER [-?v] [-d] [userid]@server

                   eg.  FINGER  erick@engmail.uwaterloo.ca
                        FINGER  @engmail.uwaterloo.ca



NOTE: The Mercury Mail server contains a Finger server module that can be 
accessed by this Finger Client.  This Mercury module only provides info on 
the mail servers Local Users though, and NOT the users of the Operating 
System on which Mercury is running.
