LPT Driver (ver 0.6) Abandoned Freeware LPT Driver is a program for powering devices through a LPT port (parallel "CENTRONICS"). It allows you to easily change the logic states of any pins. With a small electronic circuit we can, for example, drive electric devices through the PC. The program can support a maximum of 24 devices... i.e.: 3 LPT ports (0x287, 0x387, and 0x3BC), with 8 pins on each port. Typing the filename (LPTDRV.EXE) will start LPT Driver in interactive mode (push "ESC" to exit). Starting the program with the "/Auto" switch, will put the program into automatic mode (it reads the file "LPTDRV.CFG"). In "LPTDRV.CFG" you can specifiy the Port, Pin, and State to set, and you can have them changed at a specific date (year/month/day or daily) and time (hour/minute/second). There is no need to build an additional electronic circuit for small power devices like LEDs (10-20mA), but for bigger projects (motors, etc.), a relay circuit is needed. Included are two relay circuit diagrams...One for a 6v device and one for a 120v device. file = LPTDRV.zip ==================== NCD (ver 1.0) Abandoned Freeware Included here as a complement to LPT Driver is "NCD.exe for DOS". NCD is a COM (serial) port controller for many of the serial port relays and devices sold by "National Control Devices" (http://www.controlanything.com/). Devices supported include: ASEL 8S2S AVS4X1 E3C IOADR8X IOADR16X IOCONTROLLER MSERVO PWM8X R16X R1X R2X R32X R4X R8XPRO SSR8X SERVOCONTROLLER STP file = NCD.zip
