VGADISK is Freeware (the author once suggested that you could send 
him a donation, but don't, because the address is no longer valid).  
Although this driver is of limited usefulness, it does indeed work.  

VGADISK takes advantage of the fact that the Graphics portion of a 
VGA memory card is not used by software that only uses Text mode.  
The VGADISK.sys driver converts the 176K of VGA card Graphics memory 
into a RAM disk, which can then be used as volitile file storage.  


WARNING: The contents of this VGA RAM disk are vulnerable to corruption.  
Any program that writes to VGA memory in Graphics Mode will instantly 
destroy the contents of this RAM disk.  Use with care (other options 
such as using System RAM memory or a mass storage device are superior)!
