PC Paint (ver 3.1) Commercial made Abandoned Freeware PC Paint was the first mouse driven Paint program for the PC, and it predated the Macintosh computer. Files can be saved as PIC, PCX, GIF, IMG, or CLP. PC Paint was the program used to create the picture components of GRASP (*.GL) animation files. PC Paint comes with several utilities, including the PkArc file archiver (similar to ZIP), a printing utility, and a nice stand-alone picture viewer. NOTE: This version of PC Paint has been patched so that it will run properly in a Windows DOSBox. file = PCPAINT.zip =============== AutoStereoGram Producer (ver 1.01b) Abandonware Just because ASGs are fun, I am including ASG Producer. AutoStereoGram Producer will take a 16-color PCX file and convert it into an AutoStereoGram. Program can be run interactively, or from the command line. If interactive, note that you must blindly type the full path to the PCX file (-always- include the extension). Created files can be viewed using any PCX viewer. This program will note that it is a Shareware Edition, and will count how many times it has been run. Although it can no longer be registered, this version seems otherwise to be no different than a registered version. file = ASG.zip
