HWiNFO understands the new millennium hardware (e.g., Pentium CPUs, etc.)
better than AMIDIAG. However both programs are necessary, because HWiNFO 
fails on pre-i386 computers, while AMIDIAG understands them correctly.   


IMPORTANT: -never- run any DOS diagnostics program while 
inside a multitasking environment, such as Windows.  While 
it would not cause harm, it usually generates false results.
