Nautilus Digital Voice Communicator (ver 1.5a) Abandoned Freeware Nautilus is a Digital Voice Communicator that encrypts voice conversations and transmits them half-duplex (like a speaker phone) through a modem. Nautilus requires each user to have nautilus software running, one as an originator of the call, and the other as the receiver. Nautilus requires a SoundBlaster compatible sound card, microphone, speakers (or headphones), and a fast modem. This version of the software does -NOT- support VOIP (only modems or direct serial connections). NOTE: The "logon.v" file is a sound file that plays (it can be supressed) when the Nautilus program starts. It is an optional file, as Nautilus will work without it. The file must reside in the same directory as "nautilus.exe".
