HELPDECO (ver 2.1) Abandoned Freeware HLP (or MVB) to RTF converter MicroSoft Windows applications often use proprietary *.HLP files. These files are compiled and cannot be read without an interpreter. Unfortunately, there is often very useful reference information contained within these files. HelpDC converts these Help files into Rich Text Format, which can be viewed as is, or further converted to another file format (such as plain Text) with other software. To make a quick conversion, execute the command... helpdeco /r filename.hlp Note: replace "filename" with the actual 1-8 character name of the .hlp file. Resulting output file will have the same 1-8 character name, but with a .rtf file extension.
